First Post: It begins. Again. Years ago, I ran blips.net and diyaday.com. They were mostly a place for me to fool around, share pictures, and figure out how techbology worked. Now, I’m back to using a website to figure out how technology works. The impetus for this site is to determine the best way to integrate CI/CD into my work flows. To Cloudflare or Not to Cloudflare

After seeing simple exploits making their way through Incapsula, Cloudflare earned a shot. For the price of ‘free’, they are offering DDOS and CDN. Thoughts of “If you’re not paying for it, you’re the product” went into overdrive. Combine this with the common grip of CloudFlare effectively performing a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack and you have some healthy reasons to be skeptical. Both Scott Helme and Troy Hunt have both discussed the issues prior.
